Master of Science in Civil Engineering

The Master of Science in Civil Engineering program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive education in the field of civil engineering, covering a wide range of topics and specialties. The program is a two-year, 30-credit hour degree that includes both compulsory and optional courses. The compulsory courses cover the fundamental principles of civil engineering, while the optional courses allow students to specialize in a particular area of interest.


Admission Requirements

To be eligible for admission to the program, applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Structural Engineering, Traffic and Transportation Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, or Construction Engineering. Applicants with a Bachelor's degree in other related fields, such as Architecture and Planning, Computer Science Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering, may also be considered, but must complete supplementary courses approved by the Scientific Department.


Tuition Fees

The tuition fee for the program is 40,000 SAR per year.


Required GPA

The required GPA for admission to the program is 3.25 or higher.


Preference Mechanism for Admission

The preference mechanism for admission to the program is based on GPA (50%) and Undergraduate Aptitude Test (50%).
