Learning Outcomes

  1. Upon completion of the program, students will be able to recall specialized concepts, principles, and theories and explain recent developments in physics.
  2. Upon completion of the program, students will be able to identify and characterize the processes, materials, techniques, technologies, practices, procedures, and conventions that will be used in understanding experimental or theoretical research in physical fields: Advanced Materials, Optics, Renewable Energies, and Nuclear Physics.
  3. Upon completion of the program, students will be able to apply advanced concepts and principles in physics to formulate the appropriate theoretical setting to propose explanations and justifications for physical phenomena.
  4. Upon completion of the program, students will be able to use specialized skills in applying physics theories and concepts to solve relevant issues in advanced materials, optics, renewable energies, and nuclear physics.
  5. Upon completion of the program, students will be able to practice laboratory and/or computational techniques with appropriate skills and process data and information quantitatively and/or qualitatively in the field of physics.
