Program Overview
Senior Design Program
The Senior Design program is offered at the College of Engineering, Majmaah University. The program has specific regulations and requirements that students must follow.
Eligibility
To be eligible for the Senior Design project, students must meet the following criteria:
- GE 306
- 94 Credit Hours (without preparatory Credit Hours)
- Specialize course in the track
Group Formation
The number of students in each group is as follows:
- Minimum two students
- Maximum five students
- Could be more than five in some exception cases
Group Supervision
Each group supervisor can take a maximum of two groups per semester.
Report Format
The report must follow a consistent format for the Senior Design Project Report published by the Engineering Faculty, including page size, margining, font type, font size, spacing, and caption of figures and tables.
Report Length
The report length is as follows:
- For XX pages (including introduction, literature review or background of study, experimental or analytical work, methodology)
- For XX pages (completed report)
Final Report Submission
The final report must be submitted two days before the Lab-Exam Week.
Exam/Presentation Schedule
The exam/presentation schedule for the Senior Design Project is during the Lab-Exam Week, in coordination with the Exam Timetable Committee.
Corrected Final Report
The corrected final report must be submitted two weeks after the exam week.
