The Master's Program in Qur'an and Its Sciences was officially launched in the Department of Islamic Studies at the College of Education. Admission Requirements
- The applicant must be Saudi or hold an official postgraduate scholarship if they are non-Saudi.
- Must have obtained a bachelor's degree from a Saudi university or a recognized foreign university in Islamic Theology (Usul al-Din) or Sharia, or an equivalent specialization.
- Must have good conduct and behavior and be medically fit.
- Must provide two academic recommendations from professors who have previously taught them.
- If employed, the applicant must obtain approval from their employer.
- Must have obtained at least a "Very Good" GPA in their undergraduate studies. However, the Graduate Studies Council may accept applicants with a "Good" GPA, provided their GPA in specialized courses is at least "Very Good".
- Must pass the aptitude test required for admission.
- Must have memorized five sections (Juz') of the Qur'an (as determined by the department).
- Must pass the personal interview conducted by the department.
- Admission criteria weight distribution:
- 40% - Aptitude test score.
- 60% - Bachelor's GPA.
