Executive Master of Occupational Safety & Health

The Executive Master of Occupational Safety & Health program is designed to meet the requirements of industries needing qualified safety professionals. The program enhances core competencies for safety professionals, focusing on health and safety, and is in line with Vision 2030. The first batch of students was enrolled in the Fall 2021 semester.

The Master of Occupational Health & Safety program is a specialized program that aims to provide individuals with the necessary knowledge and skills to ensure the well-being, health, and safety of workers across different industries and workplaces. This program focuses on comprehending and managing risks and hazards in settings, developing safety policies and procedures, as well as fostering a culture of safety within organizations.

The goals of the Master of Occupational Safety & Health are as follows:


  1. Prepare specialized managers in occupational health and safety who handle complex industrial environments.
  2. Provide research activities in the field of occupational health and safety.
  3. Mastering techniques and new technologies to create a safe work environment in various profitable and non-profitable sectors of the Kingdom.
  4. Commitment to ethics and values that relate to national and international standards and legislation.

Acceptance Criteria in Program

To be admitted into the Master of Occupational Safety & Health program, students must satisfy the following conditions:


  • The applicant must have a bachelor's degree in engineering, scientific, health, medical, and administrative specializations from a Saudi university or from any another recognized university.
  • The student must have obtained at least a grade of "Good" in the undergraduate stage.
  • He must be of good conduct and medically fit.
  • He must submit two academic recommendations from professors who previously taught him.
  • The applicant for the program must pass the personal interview by the department.
  • Fulfill of the basic conditions according to the Unified Regulations for Postgraduate Studies at the University of Hail.
