Program Overview


Introduction to the Program

The Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery program at the University of Ha'il is designed to produce skilled and leading medical professionals. Admission Requirements

To be eligible for the program, applicants must:


  1. Be a Saudi national or have a Saudi mother.
  2. Hold a high school diploma or its equivalent.
  3. Not have completed their high school diploma more than five years prior to application.
  4. Have a valid score in the General Aptitude Test and the Achievement Test.
  5. Confirm their acceptance electronically through the university's admission portal.
  6. Not be enrolled in any other university.
  7. Be medically fit.
  8. If employed, obtain a study leave from their employer.

The program consists of 180 credits, spread over six years, followed by a one-year internship. The curriculum includes a range of courses in basic sciences, clinical sciences, and community medicine, as well as elective modules and research projects.
