The Master's program in Cosmetic Science is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in the field of cosmetic science and research.

Program Mission

The mission of the program is to prepare professional cadres who possess the knowledge and skills in cosmetic science, research, and development, ensuring high-efficiency professional practices and contributing to the enhancement of community health and well-being.

Program Objectives

• Support continuous educational needs in the field of cosmetics through the provision of continuing education programs and advanced programs.
• Enhance the ability of professionals to apply the principles of cosmetic science and utilize them efficiently in their professional practices.
• Develop basic research skills and specialized experiences necessary for designing various cosmetic products, verifying their quality, and analyzing them.
• Raise community awareness of the prudent use of cosmetics and their safety through the implementation of specialized community awareness programs.

Admission Requirements

• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution, with a cumulative grade point average of no less than 2.75 out of 5.
• Submit two letters of recommendation.
• Have a good record of conduct and be medically fit.
• Provide evidence of English language proficiency and/or pass the department's admission test (if announced as part of the admission requirements for that year).
• Meet other admission requirements announced by the Deanship of Graduate Studies.

Study System

• The program is based on coursework (including a research project).
• The total number of credited hours is 33 credited hours, distributed over two academic years.
