Program Overview

The Electrical Engineering Department at King Khalid University offers a Bachelor in Electrical Engineering program. This program is approved by the authorized body (Ministry of Education) via MoHE/9683 on 05/08/1426.

Program Structure

The program duration is five years, divided into ten levels (semesters). The first and second levels are considered as a preparatory year program prior to core academics in the department.

Program Objectives

The program aims to satisfy several significant targets, including:

• Servicing the industrial community on a scientific basis
• Transferring electrical engineering knowledge to the local population
• Qualifying students for research in the electrical engineering area
• Qualifying electrical engineers in specific areas, such as:
  • Electrical Power and Machines
  • Communications
  • Computer and Control areas
