Program Objectives
- To prepare highly qualified scientific competencies in the field of comparative Fiqh and its sciences, capable of analysis, conclusion, and innovation, to contribute to development and construction.
- To benefit the Islamic world by qualifying a generation of its sons specialized in Fiqh to be a reference in this science in their communities, scientifically and research-wise, through the jurisprudence of difference and methods of analysis and juristic deduction.
- To contribute to enriching specialized studies in comparative Fiqh through serious research, precise scientific investigations, and contemporary comparative studies that contribute to achieving development.
Admission Requirements
- General admission requirements for graduate studies as stipulated in articles (15-21) of the Unified Regulations for Graduate Studies in Saudi Universities, and its executive rules and organizational procedures approved by the Islamic University, in addition to special requirements set by the department.
- Passing the course requirements and completing the thesis.
- Passing complementary courses if required by the department.
- Passing the comprehensive exam for the doctoral stage.
- Any other requirements deemed necessary by the department.
