• The program provides fundamental concepts and skills in data communications, telecommunications, and computer networking, both wired and wireless.
• Students will learn basic network devices, functions, standards, and protocols.
• The program covers Local Area Networks and OSI layer model, Switching and routing; Ethernet technologies; Transmission Control Protocol (TCP)/Internet Protocol (IP); wireless standards; and network applications.
• Students will acquire basic networking skills like designing and setting up a local area network.
