Course Description

This course focuses on advanced mobile application programming constructs. Students will learn how to set up and use a cross-platform development tool such as PhoneGap with JavaScript to create mobile applications. The process of deployment and publishing of mobile applications will also be taught. Students will learn to develop apps that utilize mobile interface components, use geolocation and maps, store data in devices, and import web content. Examples of cross-platform tools to be used are JQuery Mobile and Phonegap.
