Course Description
This course covers an advanced level of aircraft parts joining and repair methods, including different types of welding, brazing, and soldering. The course also covers aircraft handling and storage, jacking, inspections, environmental effects on aircraft handling, repair and assembly techniques, troubleshooting, maintenance procedures, and inspections carried out after abnormal events such as lightning strikes, heavy landings, and flight through turbulence. Additional topics include maintenance planning, modifications, quality assurance, and control.
