Program Overview

The Arabic Language and Literature and Islamic Studies program has specific admission criteria that applicants must meet.

Admission Criteria

To be eligible for the program, applicants must fulfill the following requirements:

• A General Secondary School Certificate with a minimum of 70%, and the degree must be obtained within five years for all nationalities.
• A grade of 75% and above in the Arabic Language subject or in the Arabic Language Proficiency Exam at the University of Al-Wasl.
• English language proficiency, which can be demonstrated in one of the following ways:
  • A minimum score of 3.5 in IELTS or its equivalent in other standardized international tests.
  • A grade of 80% in the English subject in secondary school.
  • Passing the English proficiency test at the University of Al-Wasl with a minimum score of 80%.
  • Completing a Bridging English course (03 hours) for one semester, which will not be included in the cumulative GPA.
