Introduction to Animation

- CLO4: Assess the effectiveness of different animation styles in relation to the target audience.
Spring 2021 2022 (Sophomore)
2D Animation
Course Learning Outcomes:
- CLO1: Identify the type of theory about principles and techniques for 2D animation.
- CLO2: Apply effective and creative use of 2D animation tools and techniques.
- CLO3: Employ updated techniques per 2D Animation industry standards.
- CLO4: Manage project files and varied content for 2D animation production.
- CLO5: Evaluate traditional and contemporary 2D animations.
Summer 2021 2022 (Sophomore)
Fundamentals of 3D Animation
Course Learning Outcomes:
- CLO1: Describe the techniques and principles of apparel construction in relation to conceptual research and design development.
- CLO2: Adapt a project including selection of fabric, construction and fit correction.
- CLO3: Produce bespoke garments using advanced patternmaking and construction techniques.
- CLO4: Articulate ideas and standards to present design proposals and solutions per industry.
Fall 2021 2022 (Junior)
Storyboarding
Course Learning Outcomes:
- CLO1: Recognize different formats of storyboards that will best serve the intended media.
- CLO2: Illustrate visually different shot types, angles, cuts, transitions, posing, staging and camera moves on standard storyboard templates.
- CLO3: Create a storyboard and animatic with all the necessary labeling and sequencing information; that will make a clear and compelling visual representation of a script or story.
- CLO4: Practice pitching a storyboard or animatic to an audience.

Introduction to Digital Video Production

- CLO1: Identify media aesthetics for video production.

Motion Graphics

Capstone Graduation Project

- CLO 1: Interpret the findings of a digital animation project from an industry perspective.
- CLO 2: Implement preproduction assets, following the correct animation production pipeline.
- CLO 3: Create an original documented animation (team-based project), from concept to completion.
