Educational Technology (EdTech)

The Educational Technology (EdTech) services at AGDA enable faculty and lecturers to leverage available and emerging learning-centered technologies. The EdTech team provides participants with access to transformational learning experiences, which are empowered by technology. The services are programmed to offer the necessary support to academic and executive training staff to ensure that learners have access to high-quality digital learning resources.

Goals of the EdTech Team

The EdTech team at AGDA has several goals, including:

• Providing simple and universal access to EdTech services for educators and learners
• Researching and providing advanced EdTech tools for the academic and executive training departments
• Expanding the technology support tools to meet the AGDA's current needs and expectations
• Maintaining current technology hardware, software, and network infrastructure in collaboration with the Information Technology department
• Obtaining feedback from users on satisfaction levels of current and new services and implementing changes accordingly

Executive Training

The Executive Training department at AGDA offers online and blended short courses, allowing learners to have a more flexible learning and development journey. The lecturers and trainers use rich multimedia and interactive tools to create a dynamic and engaging virtual learning environment.

Training Management System

The Training Management System is used by the Executive Training department to deliver online and blended short courses. This system allows learners to learn at their own pace and provides a flexible learning environment.

Learning Management System

The Learning Management System (LMS) is the academy's online learning system for delivering subject content to students. The faculty uses this system to provide access to online versions of course materials and readings, manage administration, allow electronic submission of assignments, offer written and verbal feedback, conduct online assessments and surveys, and provide students with access to online communication tools.

Graduate Programmes

The Graduate Programmes department at AGDA offers a range of programs designed to support the development of diplomatic professionals. The department provides access to high-quality digital learning resources and offers a variety of services to meet the needs of students.

Research

The Research department at AGDA is committed to advancing the field of diplomacy through research and scholarship. The department collaborates with faculty, staff, and learners to explore the ways educational technology can support AGDA's mission, improve program outcomes, and foster the engagement of the learner.

Admission to Master Programmes

Admission to the Master Programmes at AGDA is now open. The last day to apply is 14th May 2025. The academy offers a range of Master Programmes, including Master Diplomacy.
