Course Objectives
The training course explores the intersection between politics and economics at the domestic and global levels. It starts by offering an overview of key macroeconomic concepts and principles that have shaped current economic debates in the region and beyond. Then, the course explores important economic trends that have shaped the 20th and 21st centuries such as trade, global investment mechanisms, economic globalization and foreign direct investments.
