Objective

The objective of the OTHM Level 5 Extended Diploma in Tourism and Hospitality Management is to develop learners' understanding of theory and practice relating to their role in this sector. It will provide knowledge that underpins the ability to work as an effective practitioner in the tourism and hospitality sector.

Entry Requirements

OTHM Level 5 Extended Diploma qualifications can be offered to learners from age 18. OTHM does not specify entry requirements for these qualifications. However, OTHM Centres must ensure learners are recruited with integrity onto appropriate qualifications that will meet their needs, enable and facilitate learning and achievement enable progression. The qualification is offered in English. If a learner is not from a majority English-speaking country, they must provide evidence of English language competency.
