The Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) – Mechanical Engineering program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the conception, design, manufacturing, maintenance, and management of systems, ranging from micromechanical devices to massive power-generating turbines.
Program Overview
This course is fundamentally oriented to provide learning and skills development opportunities with hands-on experience. Students will learn how to apply their knowledge and skills to invent or develop solutions to a wide range of exciting and challenging problems in industry. In their final year, students will undertake an individual design/research project and complete at least 480 hours of engineering work experience to graduate.

Accreditation

Application Requirements
- Indicative cut-off scores:
- GCE A-Levels: 8 points (minimum 2 subjects)
- IB: 29 points
- India: CBSE/ICSE – 70%, HSC – 71%
- English language requirements:
- 12th CBSE – 60%
- IGCSE English Language and Literature – C
- IBDP – 4
- IELTS 6.0, with no band less than 6.0 or equivalent

Course Duration
The Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) – Mechanical Engineering is a 4-year program when taken in a standard semester model as a full-time student and 8 years when taken part-time on the semester model.
