Introduction to the Emirati Tour Guide Training Program

The Emirati Tour Guide Training Program is designed for individuals who are passionate about Dubai's rich history, culture, architecture, and leisure offerings. This program provides an opportunity for participants to share their enthusiasm with visitors and gain expert knowledge about the city's unique heritage, gastronomy, natural landscape, and more.

Program Overview

The program covers a comprehensive range of topics, including:

• General information about Dubai, including geography, culture, and heritage, economy, and key organisations
• Organisation and control of groups, including planning and preparation, time management, assertiveness, and emergency management
• Presentation skills, including cultural issues, communications techniques, active listening, complaint management, and cultural awareness

Eligibility and Requirements

The following individuals are eligible to register for the program:

• Anyone with an interest in working or starting a business in the tourism sector (including part-time opportunity seekers)
• Anyone with a passion for Dubai's rich history, culture, architecture, leisure offerings, and more The required documents for registration include:
  • Emirates ID copy
  • Passport photograph (with a white background)
  • Police Clearance Certificate from Dubai Police
  • High School Completion Certificate (12th grade or higher)
  • English Proficiency Certificate with a score of B1.1 on CEF (Certificate European Framework)
  • First Aid Training Certificate

Benefits of the Program
