What to Expect
The program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive education in aeronautical engineering, covering the four classical areas of aerospace vehicle design: aerodynamics, structures, propulsion, and flight stability and control. The program blends theoretical knowledge with experimental testing and simulation applications, as well as generic soft skills, to ensure that graduates are well-prepared for entry-level job positions in their field of specialization or for pursuing graduate studies.
Internship and Practical Experience
In collaboration with EK Engineering, the Emirates Group, and other industrial partners, the university offers a six-month industrial internship to active students enrolled in this program. This internship is embedded into the curriculum and weighs 15 credits in semester 6 of their studies.
Future Career Opportunities
Graduates of the Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical Engineering program are qualified for entry-level positions in many sectors of the aerospace/aircraft industry, as well as with a number of other engineering organizations, including automobile manufacturers, mechanical construction, and oil companies. Possible career paths include:
- Design and analysis of airframes, engines, satellites, and mechanical systems
