The Emirates Aviation University offers various programs in the field of aviation, including the Flight Dispatcher Abridged Course (FD-AbC). This course is designed to provide students with the necessary knowledge and skills to become effective flight dispatchers.

Program Details

• Duration: 6 weeks
• Mode of Study: Full-time
• Intake Month: Irregular
• Tuition Fees: AED 30,000 (inclusive of registration fee, course materials, and books)

Course Outline

The FD-AbC course covers the following subjects:

• Introduction (includes brief review on MET, ATC, COM)
• Aircraft Mass (Weight) and Balance Control and Performance
• Navigation
• Human Factors
• Air Law & Dangerous Goods
• Security (Emergency and Abnormal Situations)
• Flight Planning & Monitoring (Practical Dispatching)

Assessment

• Students will be assessed through module tests.
• If students fail their module tests, they can take the test again until the third attempt.
• The pass mark for retakes is limited to 75%.

The Emirates Aviation University is accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education & Scientific Research, UAE, and the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education, UK.
