Flight Dispatcher Initial Course (FDIC)
The Flight Dispatcher Initial Course is a 10-week program that provides students with the knowledge and skills required to become effective flight dispatchers. The course is approved by the United Arab Emirates General Civil Aviation Authority (UAE-GCAA) and complies with CAR PART II Chapter 6.
- Course Outline: The course covers a range of subjects, including civil air law and regulations, aviation indoctrination, aircraft performance, weight and balance, navigation, communications, air traffic management, meteorology, flight planning and monitoring, human factors, and security.
- Entry Requirements: Candidates must meet the requirements set by the UAE-GCAA, which includes having no previous flight dispatch experience or having an expired license.
- Programme Fees: The tuition fee for the program is AED 50,000.00, which is non-refundable and includes registration fees, course materials, books, and a flight kit.
