Overview

This qualification will develop the knowledge and awareness of the types of provision in the Health, Social Care and Children's and Young People's sectors. The program includes the roles played by workers, from principles and values through to health and safety and working with others.


Pre-Requisites

  • Learners should be employed in a position or have access to resources that would allow them to naturally generate evidence as per the qualification specification.
  • Learners must be aged 14 or over
  • Proficient in the English language and literacy, numeracy, and health and safety aspects as related to the qualification.

Target Group

The program is aimed at learners who wish to develop an understanding of these settings before deciding whether working in the sector is for them.
