Overview

The Level 3 Award in Assessing Competence in the Work Environment provides a depth of knowledge, skill, and application to learners who are practitioners in the workplace. This qualification provides the essential concepts that assessment staff need, and offers additional units that describe competent practice. This approach gives flexibility and a greater potential to meet the needs of aspiring Assessors.

Pre-Requisites

• Learners should be employed in a position or have access to resources that would allow them to naturally generate evidence as per the qualification specification.
• Learners must be aged 14 or over
• Proficient in the English language and literacy, numeracy, and health and safety aspects as related to the qualification.
• Level 2 qualification in the same or similar subject area

Target Group

This qualification is intended for Assessors who assess occupational competence in an individual's work environment using a variety of assessment methods.
