Fashion Design and Creative Courses

• STYLIST FASHION DESIGNER DEGREE PROGRAM: This program is accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, providing students with a recognized qualification in fashion design.

• Make Your Own Dress: This 5-day course provides an intensive education in dress making, covering the basics of pattern making and garment construction.
• Make Your Own Bag: This 5-day course teaches students how to make a bag, covering the basics of bag design and production.

Program Details

Make Your Own Dress

This 5-day course provides an intensive education in dress making, covering the basics of pattern making and garment construction. The course is taught by a Master Pattern Maker and is suitable for beginners to intermediate level students.

• Course Details:
  • Duration: 5 days
  • Sessions: Morning and evening sessions available
  • Seats: Limited to 10 students per session
• Course Outline:
  1. Cut a sample dress from an existing pattern.
  2. Cut muslin fabric as per the pattern.
  3. Mount and stitch the dress sample.
  4. Control fitting on Haute Couture ESMOD form and apply corrections.
  5. Cut real fabric and assemble dress parts.
  6. Use a domestic and industrial sewing machine to stitch the final dress.
• Level: Beginner to intermediate

• Assessment: Continuous assessment by the Pattern Making Master
• Qualification: Certificate
• Terms of Payment: The course fee is inclusive of VAT (5%) and registration fee non-refundable. Full course fee is payable upon registration. No refund of tuition fee (full or partial) in case of drop out. No catch-up sessions for sessions not attended.
