iFash & Abaya Design Program

Program Objectives

Fashion is a continuing process of creative expression through various stimuli and references coming from many different fields such as history, art, design, architecture, to name a few. The iFash & Abaya Design program aims to provide students with a foundation in fashion design, focusing on modest wear and abayas.

Profile for the Course

Target Audience

Anyone interested in the fashion industry, particularly in iFashion, creative fusion Islamic wear, and abayas. This course is also suitable for students who need a foundation design course before entering the 3-year French Higher Diploma Program.

None

Assessment

Continuous assessment and feedback by the teacher will be given during the course, with a final portfolio review.

Goals

• Fundamentals of the fashion design process
• After completing Level 1, students are eligible to continue to Level 2 Production
• The course can lead to direct acceptance into the ESMOD Fashion Design & Creation Undergraduate Program

Program Details

The program covers the fashion design creative process, fundamentals of fashion drawing, mood board creation, and collection development. It is designed for beginners with no prior experience and is the first program of its kind in the world, focusing on modest wear and the creative fusion of Islamic wear and abayas.
