Program Description

This first-of-its-kind certification program aims to upskill teachers in the field of early childhood education by training them both theoretically and practically on the latest evidence-based successful practices and approaches in teaching and education at nurseries and Cycle 1 schools. The program enhances teachers' knowledge and skills, ensuring they are equipped to provide high-quality education and foster positive learning environments for young children.

Distinction

This specialized certification program comprises twelve modules that cover childhood development, early childhood education pedagogy, the role of early childhood education teachers as agents of development, and childhood neuroscience and language development. Participation Expectations

1. Attendance in a minimum of 85% of live sessions.
2. Deliver a minimum of 85% of required assignments and portfolios.
3. Achieve a minimum of 60% in final marks.

Admission Requirement

1. University degree in any discipline or equivalent.
2. Active position in teaching at a primary school or nursery.
3. Proficiency in either Arabic or English language, depending on the language of instruction selected.
