The Second Program: Specialized Certificate Program in Early Childhood Education for Teachers The program provides an educational certificate for teachers in primary schools and kindergartens, offered in both Arabic and English.

Program Structure

The program consists of 7-12 units, with a duration of 15-25 weeks. Each unit comprises 45 hours of work. The program is delivered in the following formats:

• Face-to-face (work-based learning)
• Synchronous online sessions (live and direct)
• Hybrid approach, including synchronous (real-time) and asynchronous (pre-recorded) sessions

Unit Content

Each unit includes:

• A video on flipped learning or textual materials for learners to review before training sessions
• A theoretical presentation with a unit-specific questionnaire for the training session
• A practical presentation with a unit-specific questionnaire for the training session and tasks to be submitted through the electronic platform
• Reading texts (1-2) with a unit-specific questionnaire for the training session and tasks to be submitted through the electronic platform

Practical Components

The practical components of each unit include:

• Clear practical tasks to be implemented in the participants' workplace with their team, enhancing cooperation between the family and school for parents as part of each unit, aiming to assist in the immediate application of the theory learned and enhance communication, comprehension, and avoidance of isolated thinking
• Alternating training/visits in model units with clear tasks for each visit, to be reported through the electronic platform
• This alternating training will also build the participants' professional network and provide peer support to effect change in their workplace
• Practical project: developing a development plan (the duration will be confirmed based on local needs as part of the localization process), with clear results, stages, work points, and follow-up plan, and presenting the plan at the end of the training
