Bachelor of Science in Information Systems and Technology Management

The Bachelor of Science in Information Systems and Technology Management program is designed to produce graduates who are successful information systems specialists, distinguished locally and internationally. The program offers three concentrations: Business Intelligence, Management of Information Systems, and Enterprise Systems.

The program is accredited by the UAE Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA) and the Computing Accreditation Commission of ABET. The program's educational objectives are to produce graduates who will become successful information systems specialists, effective communicators, team players, project-oriented, and community-engaged IS professionals with excellent work ethics.

Concentrations

• Business Intelligence (BI): This concentration prepares students to analyze and leverage data to gain insights and inform decision-making. Students learn how to discover hidden knowledge and patterns of behavior useful for improving business practice and competitiveness.
• Management of Information Systems (MIS): This concentration prepares students for management roles associated with IT within organizations. Students learn how systems of technology, people, and processes can be designed and managed to provide strategic benefits.
