Doctor of Philosophy in Applied Sociology
The Doctor of Philosophy in Applied Sociology is a comprehensive program designed to equip students with advanced knowledge and skills in sociological theories, research methods, and policy analysis. The program aims to enable students to employ advanced sociological theories in the analysis of social phenomena and problems, acquire advanced applied research skills, and prepare and design social policies, strategic plans, and programs.

- Development Policy: This area focuses on development theories, research seminar on development policy, developmental planning, human development, and migration analysis.
- Criminology and Criminal Justice: This area focuses on crime theory, international terrorism, victimology, crime scene, reformation and rehabilitation, criminal law, and national security.

- Research Seminar on Sociological Theory: This course focuses on modern sociological theories, including phenomenology and rational choice theory.
- Advanced Social Research (in English): This course provides a comprehensive examination of the Linear Regression Model and Multiple Linear Regression.
- Applied Social Statistics (in English): This course provides a detailed overview of topics central to sound advanced social research.
- Research Seminar on Social Problems: This course entails analyzing and discussing social problems within the context of scientific concepts and their interpretative sociological theories.
- Advanced Research Seminar on Policy Analysis: This course is designed to focus on analyzing social policies, especially those pertaining to family, crime, and criminal justice.
- Field Training: This course provides training in the form of advanced special workshops in areas of family counseling and social work, or in criminology and criminal justice.
