The Ektashif Camp is a dynamic youth engagement program designed by Khalifa University to empower high school students through immersive learning experiences in science, technology, and innovation. The program's mission is to ignite curiosity, develop skills, and inspire future leaders in STEM fields.
Program Objectives
The program objectives are to:
- Spark curiosity and passion for science, technology, and innovation among high school students through immersive and exploratory learning experiences.
- Develop students' foundational and practical skills in emerging STEM fields such as artificial intelligence, coding, telecommunications, and earth sciences.
- Provide participants with early exposure to university-level learning environments, guided by KU faculty and researchers, fostering academic readiness and confidence.
- Enhance personal growth through interactive workshops and team-based projects that promote critical thinking, problem-solving, and leadership development.
Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for the program are:
- High school students (Grades 1012)
- Pass math assessment and interview
- Optional: Recommendation letter from a STEM teacher
