The course, along with its laboratory component, covers the physics of radiation oncology and related dosimetry. It discusses the physics of therapy machines, treatment techniques, treatment planning, and dose computation, as well as radiation protection in radiation therapy. Both the physics of external beam therapy and brachytherapy are covered.
