Module Descriptions
MIM 711: Frontiers of Innovation
This module is designed to teach students the key elements that establish a sustainable innovation environment within various institutions, with a focus on the UAE as a model of governments that have made innovation a key element on their agenda and in their economy.
MIM 712: Public Sector Foresight & Innovation
This module addresses the main issues of innovation in the public sector, resulting from changes in political agendas and the desire to take concrete steps over the past four decades, which has led to continuous institutional changes that have become common in many parts of the public sector.
MIM 713: Service Innovation
The service sector is the most prominent sector in providing wealth and creating job opportunities for community members in both developing and developed countries. Therefore, continuing to achieve growth rates is linked to innovating solutions to the challenges and obstacles existing in the sector.
MIM 714: Micro-economics of Competitiveness
This module deals with the determinants of competitiveness and economic development at the micro level, focusing on economies in the UAE and the Middle East and North Africa region, to ensure economic sustainability.
MIM 715: Research Methods
This module is designed to provide students with the ability to understand quantitative and qualitative research methods necessary for public sector leaders, including research design, strategy, and data collection and analysis tools.
MIM 716: Strategic Management and Leadership
