The special programs at NYU Tisch School of the Arts offer students the opportunity to participate in various artistic programs and initiatives.

Program Overview

The programs provide access to the arts for students and community members through the Office of Special Programs. The faculty includes renowned artists and educators, and students have the opportunity to take courses in:

• Drama
• Film and television
• Photography and imaging
• Interactive media arts As well as participate in internships and other hands-on learning experiences.

Program Goals and Outcomes

The special programs are designed to provide students with a comprehensive education in the arts, and to prepare them for successful careers in a variety of fields. Students in the programs can choose to participate in one of several areas, including:

• Drama
• Film and television
• Photography and imaging
• Interactive media arts Graduates of the special programs have gone on to successful careers in the arts, and have worked on numerous high-profile projects and initiatives.
