The American Journalism Online Master's Program is designed to train journalists who want to change the world for the better. The program offers a customized education plan, cutting-edge thoughts, and technology, allowing students to learn at their own pace.

Program Details

Curriculum

The program requires 30 credits, which is at least six fewer than other journalism programs at NYU. Students take seven 4-credit courses and one 2-credit course.

Admission Criteria

• No journalism experience is required.
• Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree in any field.
• A writing sample and three references are required.
• Non-native English speakers must take the TOEFL or IELTS.
