LLM in Taxation
The NYU Graduate Tax Program offers comprehensive and systematic training in the nation's most prestigious tax program, providing students with the skills to respond effectively to complex problems.

Part-time Options
Full-time lawyers can pursue the LLM in Taxation on a part-time basis, typically completing the requirements in two to three years. The program offers flexibility, allowing students to:
- Take fewer credits in a given semester
- Integrate up to 12 credits of online classes into their overall curriculum The part-time Executive LLM in Taxation can be completed entirely online, offering even more flexibility.

As a full-time student, you will be assigned an advisor from the permanent tax faculty who will serve as your mentor in the program. You can choose from one of five suggested courses of study:

- International taxation (for US-trained attorneys)
- Estate planning
- Tax policy These guided paths provide a strong foundation in the practice area you've chosen for your career.
