Urban Design Course

Course Description

The Urban Design course, "Urban DesignVisualization Tools & Neighborhood Challenges," introduces students to visualization techniques and design tools to evaluate and create effective urban design proposals.


Visualization Tools

During the first half of the semester, students complete seven tutorials focusing on industry-standard tools and visualization practices.


Neighborhood Challenges

In the second half of the semester, students learn about changing priorities in urban design and engage with urban design challenges in the Hunts Point neighborhood of the South Bronx.
