Tech MBA: West Coast Immersion

The Tech MBA: West Coast Immersion is an intensive, 3-credit course designed to immerse students in the West Coast tech ecosystem. The course aims to expose students to the dynamics of industries driven by technological innovation, train students to think strategically about technological innovation and new product development and deployment, and understand what makes the West Coast a unique hub for technological innovation.

Course Objectives

The course has the following objectives:

• Expose students to the dynamics of industries driven by technological innovation
• Train students to think strategically about technological innovation and new product development and deployment
• Understand what makes the West Coast a unique hub for technological innovation
• Learn how existing legacy, mature, or startup technology firms scale operations or incubate new business ideas

Eligibility

The West Coast Immersion is a required component of the Tech MBA program, and only students in the Tech MBA program are eligible to participate.
