Program Structure
The program offers comprehensive training in the fundamentals of business and general management, as well as foundational public policy training. Students can choose from over 20 specialization areas at NYU Stern and specialize in policy analysis, international development, nonprofit/public management, or public finance at NYU Wagner. The program is completed in three years, with students enrolling full-time and taking courses within the MBA (51 credits) and MPA (33 credits) programs concurrently.
Admission to the MBA/MPA Program
Applicants to the MBA/MPA program must complete an application for each school. Admission to the dual degree program is only granted upon admission to both NYU Stern and the Wagner School of Public Service. Individuals who already hold the MPA degree are not eligible for admission to the MBA/MPA program.
