Podiatric Medicine & Surgery Residency

The Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency with Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Credential (PMSR/RRA) offered by NYU Grossman Long Island School of Medicine's Department of Orthopedic Surgery is accredited by the Council on Podiatric Medical Education (CPME). Our residency program sponsors three residents for three years (36 months) of training and prepares residents for successful careers in both academic and clinical podiatric surgery.

Program Overview

We take pride in the surgical skills our residents develop, providing a magnitude of cases well beyond the requirements outlined by the CPME. Top doctors teach residents how to provide expert care in the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the foot and ankle in a state-of-the-art setting. It is our goal to meet all the podiatric needs of our patients so they can return to and maintain both physical and mental wellness.
