Overview

The PhD Program is a research-based degree that provides students with the opportunity to conduct original research in their chosen field. Admission Criteria

• Applicants must hold a master's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
  • Relevant fields include, but are not limited to, engineering, sciences, and humanities.
• A minimum GPA of 3.5 or equivalent is required for admission.
• Applicants must provide letters of recommendation from academic or professional referees.
  • A minimum of two letters of recommendation are required.

Program Requirements

• Students must complete a minimum of 12 credits of coursework beyond the master's degree.
  • Coursework must be approved by the student's advisor and the graduate program committee.
• Students must pass a comprehensive examination within the first two years of the program.
  • The comprehensive examination is designed to assess the student's knowledge and understanding of their field of study.
• Students must complete an original research project under the supervision of a faculty member.
  • The research project must contribute to the existing body of knowledge in the student's field of study.

Tuition Fees

The tuition fees for the PhD Program vary depending on the student's residency status and the number of credits taken per semester.

• Domestic students: $1,500 per credit hour
• International students: $2,500 per credit hour
