Program Overview

The Smart Graphics program is a relatively new research field that combines computer graphics, psychology, artificial intelligence, and design. The program aims to automatically generate graphic presentations that adhere to fundamental insights into human perception and information processing, as well as rules and heuristics from graphic design.

Program Details

• The program is offered by the Department of Informatics.
• The program consists of 2 SWS (semester weeks) of lectures and 2 SWS of exercises.
• The lectures are held on Thursdays from 10:00-12:00 c.t. in room 105, Amalienstr. 17.
• The exercises are held on Fridays from 10:00-12:00 c.t. and 12:00-14:00 c.t. in room 107, Amalienstr. 17.

Target Audience

The program is designed for students of Media Informatics or Informatics in their main studies. Expected prior knowledge includes a diploma in Media Informatics or Informatics.
