The topic of this semester's seminar is Virtual and Augmented Reality. Topics may include, but are not limited to:

Registration

Applicants will be informed about the outcome of the place allocation by email via UniWorX until the start of the event.


Criteria

The criteria for participation include:


  • Attendance at all in-person sessions
  • 90-second presentation including a discussion of the presentation style
  • Preparation of a written work in English (6-8 pages, double-column)
  • Discussion of all intermediate stages of the written work with the supervisor
  • Review of at least two written works by fellow students
  • Trial presentation
  • Final presentation (15 minutes + 5 minutes discussion) at the end of the semester
  • The working language in this course is English

  • 17.05.2017: Submission of the preliminary written work / annotated outline (2-3 pages)
  • 22.05.2017: Submission of the 90-second presentation slides
  • 24.05.2017: Start of the 90-second presentations
  • 31.05.2017: How to write reviews
  • Submission of the completed written work for review by supervisors and 2 fellow students
  • 14.06.2017 (12:00 PM): Submission of reviews
  • 21.06.2017: Distribution of reviews and general feedback for participants
  • 07.07.2017: Submission of the revised written work
  • 13.07.2017: Submission of the preliminary presentation slides (extended due to UniWorX outage)
  • 11-18.07.2017: Independent trial presentations in small groups
  • 19.07.2017: Submission of the final presentation slides
