The Practical Creative Coding program is a university course that focuses on the creative possibilities of digital technologies, algorithms, and programming languages. The program aims to explore new forms of expression and discover new facets in the medium.

Content

Theme: Digital Creativity

The program explores the creative possibilities that digital technologies, algorithms, and programming languages offer to reach new forms of expression. Artists and creatives have always dealt with contemporary technologies and their use in the context of art, music, and design. The program requires basics in the Java programming language, and all projects will be implemented with Processing.

Program Objective

The aim of the program is an exhibition curated by the students of their own generative and algorithmic works. Over the course of the semester, new artistic concepts are implemented and experimented on a weekly basis.
