The focus areas include game development, game design, augmented reality, simulation games, simulation, and industrial applications, as well as 3D real-time visualization with open-source software. The course consists of three modules that cover digital real-time technologies, 3D simulation, and game engines. All workshop results will be collected and presented at the end of the semester. The goal is to have a final presentation with a demonstration of a functioning game application by the end of the semester.
Requirements
- Participants should bring their own notebook with the required software (Blender and Unreal Engine) installed.
- Participants should watch video tutorials for the Unreal Engine before the course.
Students
The lecture course is suitable for:
- Master's students in Media Informatics
- Master's students in Computer Science The course is designed for Master's students and can only be credited towards a Master's degree. Bachelor's students can participate and collect ECTS credits for their future Master's studies, but they cannot use these credits towards their Bachelor's degree. The number of participants is limited to 24 students, with a waiting list for additional students. Bachelor's students can only participate if there are available spots not taken by Master's students.
