Overview
The Practical Course Media Design is a 4-hour per week course worth 3 ECTS credits. It is part of the Projektkompetenz Multimedia (BSc) module.

Contents
During the practical course, students work in groups to develop multimedia content for a project partner. This semester's partner is the Chair for Education and Educational Psychology. Students design, prototype, and implement multimedia content to enhance a test instrument for measuring competences in digital teaching (K19 competences).
Preliminary Schedule
- Until October 30th: Registration
- November 11th, 12 PM: Introduction
- November: Concept development
- December 2nd, 12 PM: Pitch-presentation of concepts for feedback
- December and January: Implementation of the concept (with optional feedback sessions)
- February 10th, 12 PM: Final presentations

Participants are selected based on their:
- Study program
- Current semester
- Relevant expertise (e.g., from other practicals, projects, or jobs)
- Motivation for participating in the course Applications are reviewed based on this information, not on the time of application. However, interested students are encouraged to apply as early as possible.
Notes
Due to lack of demand, this practical course was not offered in the winter term 20/21. The appointments for the course are held via Zoom, and the dates in the schedule are preliminary and subject to updates.
