Program Overview

Study Group Digital Photography

The Study Group Digital Photography is a university program that focuses on various aspects of photography. The program is offered in two different formats, depending on the semester.

Winter Semester: Beginner's Course (Technical Foundations)

In the winter semester, the program is designed for interested students who have not yet dealt extensively with photography. The technical foundations are introduced at the beginning, and participants prepare and present a specific topic of their choice to the study group in a short lecture with subsequent discussion or practical application. The topics should include both creative photography and techniques related to digital images and their processing.

Summer Semester: Advanced Course

In the summer semester, the program is aimed at students who already have experience with photography. The technical foundations and the operation of the camera should already be known. The goals of this course are to discuss topics together, critically examine images, and provide feedback, as well as to inspire and motivate each other. Joint photography is also an essential part of this course.
