Program Overview

Program Overview

The Creative Coding program is a university course that explores the creative possibilities of digital technologies, algorithms, and programming languages in the context of art, music, and design.

Course Description

Artists and creatives have always dealt with contemporary technologies and their use in the context of art, music, and design. Creative Coding is therefore concerned with the creative possibilities that digital technologies, algorithms, and programming languages offer to reach new forms of expression, but also to explore the medium and discover new facets in it. Over the course of the semester, new artistic concepts are implemented and experimented on a weekly basis.

Requirements

Basics in the Java programming language are required for the course. During the course, all projects will be implemented with Processing.

Course Objectives

The aim of the event is an exhibition curated by the students of their own generative and algorithmic works.
