Information on the Final Thesis
The final thesis should be written in the 4th semester. Please note the following hints:
- Please contact your supervisor early.
- A return of the topic is only possible once within two weeks after the start of the processing time.
- The form for registering the final thesis can be found here. Please use only the form intended for your study program. If there is no separate form for your study program, please use the form labeled "general".
- Please fill in the information about your person and have the topic entered by your supervisor.
- The form will be submitted directly by your supervisor or collected by the coordinator to the examination office and recorded by the responsible examiner two to four weeks after the start of the processing time.
- After recording your final thesis by the examination office, your registration will appear in your LSF account statement, as well as under "Info on registered exams". There you can also check the recording of your work title. Any typing errors should be reported to your examiner so that they can be corrected.
- The start of the work is the beginning of the registration period for all students. The processing time is exactly 20 weeks.
- Please note: The registration can be made during the entire registration period. The start of the work remains the beginning of the registration period for all students.
The master's thesis (2 copies) can be submitted:
- on the day of submission during office hours to Mr. Fabian Widerna in room D 205 (Geschwister-Scholl-Platz 1, 80539 Munich),
- via the house mailbox (main entrance, right), or
- by post (by registered mail - the postmark counts as the submission date) to
- Examination Office for Humanities and Social Sciences
- c/o Fabian Widerna
- Sibling Scholl 1st place
- 80539 Munich
In the bound work (glue or spiral binding), a personally signed certificate should be bound in as the last page, confirming that you have written the work independently and have not used any other aids than those specified.
For the disputation, please arrange a date with your examiner that is after the submission of the master's thesis.
