UX and UI Design Course

Overview

The objective of this course is to introduce the main concepts and principles of Usability and Design, enabling students to develop consistent and user-friendly interfaces for their websites. The course presents key techniques and methodologies to understand the needs of users who interact with the interface.

Instructor

Edu Agni

Edu Agni is a UX design specialist, lecturer, and consultant. He began his experimental studies and work with design and HTML in 1998 and has been working professionally as a designer since 2003, with a focus on Usability and Information Architecture. Edu Agni has been a lecturer since 2007, presenting studies on topics such as Social Interface, Emotional Design, UX Design, Responsive Design, and Mobile at various events and universities in Brazil. He is the founder of Mergo User Experience (2013), a company specializing in courses in the areas of User Experience and Usability, having taught over 5 different courses in more than 100 classes across Brazil, training over 1,800 professionals from various fields. Since 2013, he has been the curator of the creativity area at Campus Party Brazil, the largest internet and digital culture event in the world. Edu Agni is also the creator and editor of //ux.blog, which features content on UX, Usability, and Design Thinking.

About the MOOC GGTE UNICAMP Platform

The MOOC GGTE UNICAMP is a portal for online, free, and open courses produced by the academic community of Unicamp in partnership with the Grupo Gestor de Tecnologias Educacionais da Unicamp (GGTE/Unicamp). The platform uses the TIM Tec software, which allows for the creation of MOOC platforms hosting free and open courses that can be taken simultaneously by a large number of people. The system can host multiple courses using video lessons, support materials, activities, forums, and virtual notebooks. For managers, the platform enables generating reports on course progress, verifying participant progress, interacting with students, and issuing certificates and attendance records.
